Cape Cod has more than 40 courses and as many as 30 are accessible to the public — everything from a historic Scottish links to a pair of championship Brian Silva-designed courses.
“It’s a place where golf is as unpretentious as the residents in their well worn boat shoes and sun-faded shorts,” says Golf Advisor.

The Captains Golf Course, Brewster
With two Brian Silva-designed courses, The Captains Golf Course bills itself the “golf capital of the Lower Cape.” The Port course plays more difficult than the Starboard with two kettle ponds guarding the eighth and 14th greens. The Starboard, featuring long fairways and fast greens, is a little more forgiving. Go to capecodgolfcourse.com for rates and tee times.
