This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. A single mother is raising her 16 year-old and 18 year-old sons. Both boys are struggling with mental health challenges and she is unable to work due to her disabilities. One of her sons has autism and also struggles to maintain his relationships with is family members. This mother regularly has difficulties with meeting the three family members' basic needs, despite providing a loving environment for her sons. Please help in gifting some support and Christmas cheer to this family this holiday season. Child #1: 16 year-old boy loves anything with Pokémon or Superman themes; would like Game Stop or Wendy's gift cards, a “Game Pass Ultimate” for XBox or board games (he has Clue, Scrabble, and Monopoly); needs large pants, large shirts, size 8 shoes, a XL coat, gloves, winter hat, and scarf Child #2: 18 year-old boy would love art supplies and Steam or Amazon gift cards; needs 2X pants, 3X shirts, size 9 shoes, winter gloves/scarf/hat Parent/guardian #1: Mom needs basic necessities for the home such as pots and pans, a full-size blanket, spoons, forks, glasses, cups and bowls; she would love winter gloves/scarf/hat; she would also appreciate Stop & Shop or Amazon gift cards.
