We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This little girl is being treated for some issues stemming from her father being incarcerated for a long time. She lives in an apartment with her mom who works 2 jobs to keep them afloat. They moved to Cape Cod for a fresh start, but with no extended family nearby mom struggles to support the family financially and at times emotionally. Mom is also in treatment to process her feelings around dad, being the best parent possible and other family losses. They are most deserving. Child #1: 10 year old girl needs winter clothing. A winter coat (size 14-16) Boots, sneakers size 7.5. She wears a size 10-12 shirts, and likes shirts, hoodies. Size 14 pants. Parent/guardian #1: Mom needs jeans, Size 10-12. She would love an air fryer. Both mom and daughter “wish” for a Laptop.
