HYANNIS – It took less than an hour for Cape Cod’s first baby of 2019 to arrive.
Lisa Brouilette, 24, of Yarmouth, delivered baby Avery at 12:51 a.m. at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis on January 1.
The healthy baby girl was delivered with the assistance of Cape Cod Healthcare midwife Kate Parsons.
It is the first baby for Brouilette and her husband, Eric, 27.
No word yet on a first baby at Falmouth Hospital.
