Yarmouth Army Veteran Amputee Raising Money through Falmouth Road Race

Falmouth Road Race LogoYARMOUTH – A Yarmouth resident and U.S. Army veteran wounded in Afghanistan will compete in the Falmouth Road Race wheelchair division to benefit Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod.

Chris Sprague, 35, was hit by an IED in 2011. The injury led to a leg amputation in May, which required rehab at the Spaulding Outpatient Center in Yarmouth.

Sprague is attempting to raise at least $1,000 through his Race for Rehab team.
