WAQUOIT – The Waquoit Bay Reserve is hosting a series of Tuesday night events through the month of July.
“Evening on the Bluff” will include everything from animal discussions to African Drummers.
On July 10, Bethany Jakubson hosts a live animal program where she will talk about her passion for reptiles, birds, mammals and amphibians while including humor into her presentation.
Jakubson is an expert in wildlife care and owner of Amazing Animal Ambassadors.
“Campfire Songs with Jackson Gilman” will take place on July 17th as Gilman lead the crowd in a sing-a-long with familiar family favorites mixed with a live performance.
African Drummers will delight people on July 24th with their lively performance that brings people together in happiness, for rejuvenation, health and community.
On July 30th, the Reserve will host a Community Ice Cream Social and Silent Art Auction to commemorate their 30th anniversary.
All events take place at 6:30 p.m.
The mission of the Reserve is to improve the understanding of coastal ecosystems and human influences on them.
They also strive to improve environmental literacy to enable environmentally-sustainable decision making.
