Van Vleck to Lead Fundraising Department at HAC

HYANNIS – The former Executive Director of Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) is now the Chief Development Officer for Housing Assistance Corporation.

Anne Van Vleck was named to the position this week, where she will be in charge of resource development, including major gifts and fundraising initiatives.

She was with CCYP since 2010 and previously with the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance as Director of Events.

“Housing instability is a regional issue and we need people who think regionally and have those regional connections,” said HAC CEO Alisa Galazzi.

For over 43 years, HAC has served as a local leader in the development of affordable housing, as well as preventing homelessness, sheltering, overseeing rental vouchers and providing foreclosure prevention counseling, consumer education and weatherization, among other services.

“I’m really excited to make the move and hopefully to continue to have an impact on the important work that they’re doing there at HAC,” said Van Vleck.

Van Vleck is scheduled to begin her position at HAC in July.
