BREWSTER – A local non-profit group dedicated to passing a Municipal Plastic Bottle Ban in towns across the Cape, is hosting a fundraiser later this month.
Sustainable Practices is hosting a Tapas Tasting at Apt in Brewster on July 29.
The event is the second in a series and features locally sourced organically grown produce as well as wine and beer tasting from local producers.
Proceeds from the tasting will support the group’s Municipal Plastic Bottle Ban campaign.
As of this spring, Sustainable Practices successfully championed the adoption of the ban across five Cape towns and are working to file and promote the by-law adoption in the remaining 10.
