HYANNIS – Cape Cod Broadcasting Media will present the 2nd Annual State of the Cape on Friday morning at the Cape Cod Community Center in Dennis.
The round-table forum will bring together every member of the Cape and Islands legislative delegation for an in-depth discussion on the issues facing the area.
This unique event is a rare chance for the public to hear from all six of the region’s state representatives and the two state senators, all in one location.
Issues expected to be discussed include wastewater, housing, the economy and transportation.
The event will be broadcast live on Cape Cod Community Media Center’s cable channels 98 and 99 on Comcast and simulcast online at CapeCod.com.
Lawmakers scheduled to attend include 1st Barnstable State Representative Tim Whelan, 2nd Barnstable State Representative Will Crocker, Barnstable/Dukes/Nantucket State Representative Dylan Fernandes, 5th Barnstable State Representative Randy Hunt, 4th Barnstable State Representative Sarah Peake, 3rd Barnstable State Representative David Vieira, Cape & Islands State Senator Julian Cyr and Plymouth/Barnstable State Senator Vinny deMacedo.
The forum will be moderated by CCB Media News Director Matt Pitta.
