SSA to Discuss New Building, Proposed Fare Hikes

WOODS HOLE – The Steamship is holding a series of public meetings beginning this week to bring the public up to speed on the construction project in Woods Hole and proposed changes to vehicle fare prices.

A meeting this afternoon will focus on the proposed design of the Authority’s new building, it is scheduled at 4:30 in the Hermann Foundation Meeting Room at the Falmouth Public Library. Tomorrow night the Board of Governors moves over to the Vineyard for a meeting at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse at 4.

The monthly board meeting, where the increase in summer fares is expected to be considered, is scheduled for Tuesday October 16^th at Martha’s Vineyard High School at 3:30. All of the meetings are open to the public.
