PROVINCETOWN – Comedian Sandra Bernhard will be performing at Provincetown Town Hall on August 27 at 8 p.m.
Bernhard’s live performances are a hybrid of stand-up comedy and rock ‘n roll, a raucous mix of political satire, pop culture commentary and cabaret.

Bernhard continues to tour nationally and overseas with her new live show Feel the Bernhard, spotlighting her own unique, sharp blend of hysterical insight and outspoken views.
Bernhard’s show, which also features her band The Flawless Zircons, has been selling out venues in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and all points in between.
Sandra debuted Feel the Bernhard at her recent sold-out six night run at Joe’s Pub in New York City which garnered rave reviews.
On the television front, Sandra appeared last year in several episodes of the CBS sitcom Two Broke Girls, while also guest-starring on episodes of Fox’s Brooklyn 99.
In 2014, she joined the cast of the ABC Family drama Switched at Birth.
From 1991-1996 Bernhard played Nancy Bartlett—the first openly gay character on a network sitcom—on Roseanne, while she has also had roles on numerous other shows including Hot in Cleveland, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Law & Order: SVU, Will & Grace, The Sopranos, Ally McBeal and The Larry Sanders Show.
She has appeared more than 30 times on Late Night with David Letterman and has been a regular guest of Howard Stern’s since the early ‘80s.
