Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade Set for Saturday

PLYMOUTH – Plymouth is hosting its annual celebration of America’s founding and culture this weekend with their weekend before Thanksgiving traditions.

Events kick off Friday night with a free concert with the United States Army Old Guard and Fife Band at Memorial Hall. Doors open at 6 with the show beginning at 7 p.m. 

Saturday features the highlight of the weekend: the Thanksgiving Parade. The parade steps off  at 11 a.m. at the Benny’s Plaza on Court Street and winds its way down Court and Main Street before coming to an end near Plymouth Rock on Court Street.

The parade features a chronological walk through the history of the country through custom built floats, equestrian groups, fife and drum corps, and more.

A shuttle service from the Plymouth Courthouse on Obery Street to the parade route will running between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Parking will be limited in downtown Plymouth. 

Events continue throughout the weekend with food trucks, crafting village, live entertainment, and outdoor living history museum, and farmer’s market.
