Passing Storm to Create Rough Surf, Riptides

BARNSTABLE – Although Hurricane Cristobal will not hit land, ocean beaches on the Cape and Islands will be affected by the storm passing offshore.

Rough surf and rip currents are expected beginning Wednesday afternoon and into Friday.

Beach goers are advised to take caution.
