HYANNIS – The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is hosting a webinar November 19 to collect public comments on the best practices for decommissioning community advisory boards.
The NRC is required to prepare a report and present it to Congress. The report identifies the best methods for community advisory boards’ establishment and operations.
Meetings were originally held in communities near power plants that were being decommissioned from August to October.
The webinar is set to begin at 1 p.m. Online registration is required to join.
