BOURNE – The Massachusetts Military Support Foundation Inc., has named Don Cox as its President and CEO.
The new non-profit 501c (3) is dedicated to supporting Massachusetts Military, U.S. Coast Guard, Veterans and their families.
Cox, who will assume the role in November, is a business executive with years of experience in marketing and fundraising.
He currently serves as the President and CEO of the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation Inc. and is one it its founders.
Cox previously served as the President of the Otis Civilian Advisory Council.
At the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation, Cox led the creation of the Children’s Fund programs, Dorothy’s Pantry and expanded Operation Backpack.
“I am extremely honored to be selected as the first President and CEO,” said Cox. “To accomplish this vital mission, it will take a broad network of volunteers with the commitment and passion to serve those who serve us. I’m confident the citizens of Massachusetts will step up to help these families who sacrifice every day on our behalf.”
