WEST YARMOUTH – Another candidate has thrown his hat in the ring for Barnstable County Commissioner.
South Yarmouth resident Mark Forest will hold a campaign kickoff for his run Sunday at the Yarmouth House Restaurant, 335 Route 28, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Forest cited mounting financial woes throughout the county as a pressing area of focus.
Though he has never served in elected office, Forest has worked with the Provincetown Town Manager’s office and became Congressman Bill Delahunt’s chief of staff.
Forest teaches American Government and International Relations at Cape Cod Community College, serves on the Yarmouth Conservation Trust and is Chairman of the Cape Cod Conservation District.
More information on his campaign can be found at www.electmarkforest.com.
