Cape Cod to Host Law Enforcement Torch Run This Week

HYANNIS  – Members of local law enforcement will join forces on Wednesday with members of the community for a 67-mile relay run from one end of the Cape to the other.

The Cape Cod Law Enforcement Torch Run begins in Provicetown at 5am, the route runs along 6A touching most communities on Cape before ending nearly 70 miles later in Buzzard’s Bay with a wrap-up party at Mezza Luna Restaurant.

As the run officers will carry the Flame of Hope raising awareness along the way about Special Olympics athletes, their teams and families.
