WEST DENNIS – The annual meeting for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod will be held Thursday in West Dennis.
The appreciation celebration honors organization award winners and longtime volunteers, along with reviewing the work completed over the past year and what is to come.
The meeting starts at 4:30 pm at the West Dennis Yacht Club.
Habitat has constructed more than 125 homes on Cape Cod since 1988.
The 2018 award honorees are listed below.
Community Partner Award
The Town of Brewster
This award is given to recognize a local non-profit or public agency for its exceptional contributions that further Habitat’s work in building simple, decent affordable homes.
The Golden Hammer Business Award
Magnum Moving
This award is given to a local business in recognition of exceptional contributions that further Habitat’s work in building simple, decent, affordable homes for local families.
The (Everett Stoyle) Spirit of Service Volunteer Award
Robin Trainor
This award is given to a volunteer who through his or her service with Habitat exemplifies the generosity of spirit and willingness to serve that we associate with Habitat.
The (Don Dickinson) Legacy Award
Lynette Helms
This award is given to an individual or group whose contributions further Habitat’s work in building simple, decent affordable homes.
The HaRvie Award
Bill Varner
This award recognizes Habitat ReStore Volunteers in Excellence.
