FALMOUTH – There was no stopping the Falmouth High School hockey team Wednesday night in their first game since two student athletes were killed in a car crash right before Christmas.

The Clippers beat D-Y 5-0 in front of a packed house at the Falmouth Ice Arena.

James Lavin and Owen Higgins were remembered by teammates, who carried their number 10 and 19 jerseys onto the ice before the game. The jerseys were then hung behind the Clippers bench.

More than one-hundred high school hockey teams have honored Lavin and Higgins over the last two weeks. The Bruins also hung jerseys in their memory during their game against the Sabres last weekend.
