Earthquake Shakes New England, Felt as Far as Cape Cod

HYANNIS – An earthquake was reported just off the coast of southern Maine around 10:30 am Monday morning, shaking communities as far as Cape Cod.

The incident happened in York Harbor, nearby Portsmouth, Maine. United States Geological Survey said it was a magnitude 3.8 quake, with those in New Hampshire, Boston, and all-around Cape Cod feeling the shake.
