HYANNIS- Officials with Curry College and Cape Cod Community College have signed a transfer agreement that provides 4 C’s graduates the opportunity to complete their Bachelor’s Degree through Curry College’s Division of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies.
Curry College will accept Cape Cod Community College Associate Degree credits, and students will also be able to potentially transfer additional credits up to a maximum of 90, allowing them to study at 4 C’s for up to three years if they choose.
“I think this is one of those great moments we get to show up and see the results of so much hard work that is going on behind the scenes,” said Cape Cod Community College President Dr. John Cox.
“This also highlights your efforts to drive this forward in bringing together our faculty in the communications area and basically building another option,” said Cox.
The agreement also provides the opportunity for students to increase flexibility in their academic portfolio and transfer into a new academic programs.
“Students are looking for a seamless transfer opportunity where all their credits come across in a nice clean fashion, which facilitates completing a four year degree in four years when you stack everything together,” said David Szczerbacki, Provost of Curry College.
“This agreement helps do that. It helps do that in an affordable fashion.”
Students will also be eligible to receive Curry’s Education Partner Pricing, which offers graduates a reduced per-credit tuition rate.
Since 2012, Curry College and Cape Cod Community College have collaborated on several initiatives to better serve and meet the needs of students.
