HARWICH – Cape Cod Regional Technical High School is hosting “Tech Night” for prospective students and their parents on Thursday.
Students in 7th and 8th grade from the school’s district towns of Barnstable, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Eastham, Harwich, Mashpee, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet and Yarmouth are invited to attend.
“Students have the choice to get a career started, but also be prepared for further education if they so choose,” said Cape Cod Tech Superintendent Robert Sanborn.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the school facilities, learn about the new initiatives and hear from Cape Cod Tech graduates, parents and students.
Upon graduation, students will have the choice to go on to higher learning or enter into their careers.
“The Tech Nights are a great opportunity to come in the doors and dispel any negative stereotypes you may have about vocational education,” said Sanborn.
According to Cape Cod Tech officials, the school has one of the highest graduation rates of Cape Cod high schools.
The high school has around 650 students from the district towns.
