HARWICH – Officials at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School are inviting students and their families to attend a Showcase Reveal of plans for the new school under construction.
The Showcase Reveal will offer those attending with a presentation and virtual reality exploration of the new Cape Cod Tech, which is expected to open in 2020.
“We’re very excited with the new building that’s being built for us, so we’re offering a virtual reality presentation of what the new Cape Cod Tech will look like,” said Admissions Coordinator Kevin Fuery.
“We’re also offering three different tours so parents and potential students can get a more intimate look at all of the shops we have to offer and just to get a feel for what the overall experience would be at Cape Cod Tech.”
The event will include information on all aspects of the of the application process. Parents will have support in the application process while prospective students will be given the opportunity to interview with school’s Admissions Team.
“We’re also offering a much more informative session with our admissions and application process. Whether students have applied or are thinking about applying, we kind of walk families through that and allow the students to actually interview with our admissions team,” Fuery said.
Families will also benefit from Cape Cod Tech’s exploratory process, which doesn’t require freshman students to select a technical area until prior to the middle of ninth grade.
Cape Cod Regional Technical High School provides its students with an education that utilizes 21st Century instructional methods of 21st Century careers through project based learning.
The Showcase kicks off at 6:00 p.m. Thursday night at Cape Cod Tech.
