HYANNIS – The return of the annual Cape, Islands, and Southeastern Massachusetts Heroes Breakfast will take place this spring as more than two dozen men and women in the community will be honored.
The 17th annual Heroes Breakfast, hosted and presented by the Red Cross, honors ‘heroes among heroes’ – professionals and ordinary citizens who go above and beyond the call of duty to do extraordinary things to help people.
Slain Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon, who was killed in April of 2018 while serving an arrest warrant, will posthumously be given the Community Impact Hero award.
