Cape Cod Five Holds Donation Drive for Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops

HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is sponsoring a donation drive at all its branches to gather contributions for Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops.

The drive is being held until November 25.

“We are greatly appreciative of the sacrifices borne by our servicemen and servicewomen, who are dedicated to making our country and our world a safer place,” said Cape Cod Five President and CEO Dorothy A. Savarese. “It is a privilege for us to hold this donation drive in their honor.”

All donations from the drive will become part of holiday care packages being sent to troops overseas.

Travel-sized items are preferred, whenever possible.

Items particularly needed are: blank greeting cards, mints, gum, holiday cards with handwritten notes of appreciation, small stocking stuffers, candy, shaving items and mouthwash.
