Brewster Community Network to Host Forum on Banning Plastics

BREWSTER – Brewster Community Network will be hosting a forum this week to explore the question, “Banning Plastics: Why Not in Brewster?”

The workshop will include comments from featured speaker is Deb Pasternak, interim director of the Massachusetts Sierra Club, which has helped citizens and officials across the Commonwealth implement plastics bans.

In additional, a panel of residents will provide an update on banning plastics in Brewster, addressing previous board-level discussions, local initiatives, next steps, and questions from the audience.

The free forum will be held this Thursday, running from 630 to 8 pm at the Brewster Ladies’ Library and is open to the public.
