Barnstable Police Arrest Man for December Home Invasion, Armed Robbery

BARNSTABLE – A Randolph man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a December 15 home invasion and armed robbery at a Fresh Holes Road home in Hyannis.

Anthony Dixon, 27, was identified as a suspect from forensic evidence found at the scene by a Barnstable County identification officer, according to police.

Dixon was arrested Wednesday while making a scheduled appearance in Roxbury District Court.

The victim of the home invasion said two black men forced their way into the home, held a gun to his head and robbed him of about $600, according to police.

Dixon was charged with home invasion, armed robbery and armed career criminal.

He is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing, which is scheduled for Friday at Barnstable District Court.
