Application Submitted for Barnstable Dog Park Funding

BARNSTABLE – An application for grant money was recently submitted to the Stanton Foundation by the Committee for Barnstable Dog Parks, Inc.

The application included a conceptual plan for a park the town has already set aside land for near Hathaway’s Pond.

The Stanton Foundation could provide as much as 100 percent of the design costs and 90 percent of construction costs.

The Committee said they expect to hear back on the status of the grant later this fall.
