WEST BARNSTABLE – Men on the campus of Cape Cod Community college can participate in a “Sign the Pledge” White Ribbon Day event Wednesday.
Individuals can take the White Ribbon Day pledge to not commit violence against women or children by signing large posters at the college.
The poster’s which contain the pledge will be in the Grossman Cafeteria and the North-Wilkens Connector from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“By participating in this event, men and boys will show they do not tolerate or condone men’s violence towards women, men or children,” said David Ziemba, the co-chair of the college’s White Ribbon Day planning committee.
White Ribbon Day is an annual statewide campaign sponsored by Jane Doe Inc.
