YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth DNR:On Tuesday March 19, 2019 Yarmouth DNR received a call for 3 common dolphins possibly stranded within Chase Garden Creek in Yarmouth Port.
Yarmouth DNR responded and immediately notified IFAW stranding network. Due to the tide ebbing the dolphins were disoriented and unable to get out of the creek to Cape Cod Bay.
An IFAW stranding team was deployed and through their hard work were able to rescue all three stranded dolphins and re-release them back into Cape Cod Bay.
Thank you IFAW for your hard work in rescuing these dolphins.
