SOUTH YARMOUTH – Two vehicles collided in South Yarmouth sometime after 4 p.m. The crash happened at the intersection of Willow Street and South Street. This Mazda van and a Mitsubishi Gallant collided. An elderly coupe in the Mazda were taken to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation. The reader who submitted the photo says drivers often fail to stop for the stop sign at the intersection, adding that his wife comforted the couple until rescuers arrived. The crash is under investigation by Yarmouth Police.
