MARSTONS MILLS – Fire broke out in a Marstons Mills house sometime after 6 p.m. Monday. The fire at 2000 Main Street appeared to be on the second floor and attic of the home and went to three alarms. The fire apparently got into the walls and went through the roof for a time. Everyone made it out safely and no injuries were reported. Mutual aid from several towns responded to the scene or to cover empty fire stations. Officials were checking a wood stove as a possible cause. Traffic was rerouted around the scene due to hoses and apparatus in the street. The fire was declared under control in about 90 minutes.
