BOURNE – A 4-vehicle head-on rollover accident on the Sagamore Bridge early Tuesday morning caused backups in both directions.
The crash, which also involved a tractor trailer, happened just before 7 a.m., impacting traffic coming on and off Cape Cod.
Bourne Police said the span was closed in both directions for a time while emergency crews responded to the crash.
Two people were injured. One reportedly had serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Traffic was heavily backed up as the bridge was completely closed for a time for about an hour.
