WAREHAM – From Wareham Police: Some of the recent arrests by members of the Wareham Police Department.
Thursday, September 26:
9:15 p.m. – Anthony Mascarello, 65, of Wareham, was arrested by Officers Eric Machado and Jennifer Braley for operating under the influence, 4th offense. The arrest was made following a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Woods at Wareham complex.
Friday, September 27:
11:10 a.m. – Jillian Throckmorton, 29, of Buzzards Bay, was arrested by Officer Aaron Pacheco for shoplifting at the Dollar General store.
Saturday, September 28:
11:30 a.m. – Tonilyn Capezzuto, 31, of no certain address, was arrested by Officer Pacheco on High Street. She was placed in custody because of four active warrants.
Sunday, September 29:
12:45 a.m. – Robert V. Sullivan, 51, of North Falmouth, was arrested by Officers Calib Larue and Ryan Gomes for operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, and failure to stop at a stop sign. The arrest comes following a motor vehicle stop on Cranberry Highway near Onset Avenue.
12:30 p.m.- Rita Desmond, 56, of East Falmouth, was arrested by Officer Blaise Lalli for assault and battery on a person over 60 and assault and battery. She was taken into custody on Cranberry Highway at Red Brook Road, after an earlier disturbance on Sean Circle. In addition to the assault charges, Ms. Desmond had two active warrants.
8:18 p.m. – Ellora Trottier, 23, of Sandwich, was arrested by Officer Pacheco and Detective Dean Decas for shoplifting at Walmart.
Thursday, October 3:
1:07 a.m. – James Bruce, 74, of Wareham, was arrested by Officers Matthew Donovan and Stephen Harrison following a motor vehicle stop on Cranberry Highway. He is charged with operating under the influence, marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
12:25 p.m. – Shawn Keith, 56, of West Wareham, was arrested by detectives at his residence because of an active warrant.
1:29 p.m. – Antonio Paim, 51, of West Wareham, was arrested by detectives at his residence on an active warrant.
8:00 p.m. – Maliza Egan, 27, of Plymouth was arrested by Officers Lorenzo Grosso and Charles Pillsbury at the Rosewood Motel. The officers observed her there and were aware of an active warrant for her arrest.
8:58 p.m. – Gary Wahlstrom, 55, of East Wareham, was arrested by Officers Grosso and Pillsbury at the Silver Lake Motel. The officers were aware Wahlstrom was there and had an active warrant.
10:04 p.m. – William Burton Jr., 37, of Carver was arrested by Officers Grosso and Pillsbury at the Rosewood Motel. The officers were aware he was staying there and had an active warrant.
Sunday, October 6:
7:05 a.m. – Richard McCarthy, 31, of Buzzards Bay, was arrested by Officers Peter Silvia and Ryan Gomes on Onset Avenue on an active warrant. The officers were checking a suspiocious car in the area when they encountered Mr. McCarthy.
Monday, October 7:
9:48 a.m. – Rory Barrows Jr., 20, of New Bedford, was arrested by Juvenile Detective Karl Baptiste in the area of Viking Drive near the High School. Mr. Barrows is charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class “B” drug and possession with intent to distribute near a school. The arrest follows a report of a suspicious person in the area. Juvenile Detective Baptiste investigated and found suspected crack cocaine on the male and placed him under arrest.
11:10 a.m. – Betty Ann Casey, 48, of Wareham, was arrested by Officer Calib Larue on Cranberry Highway following a motor vehicle stop. She is charged with operating after suspension, subsequent offense and marked lanes violation.
1:12 p.m. – Jonathan Sanders, 40, of East Wareham, was arrested by detectives at his residence on an active warrant.
3:25 p.m. – Andrew Bankson, 54, of East Wareham, was arrested by detectives on a warrant following a motor vehicle stop.
9:22 p.m. – Dawn Barboza, 53, of West Wareham, was arrested by Officers Michael Phinney and Charles Pillsbury for shoplifting at Stop and Shop. In addition to the shoplifting, she had four active warrants.
10:12 p.m. – A Plymouth male was placed under arrest as part of a confidential investigation. Officers Blaise Lalli and Joseph Cardoza were the arresting officers.
