DENNIS – From Dennis Fire: The Dennis Fire Department is proud to announce the hiring of Firefighter / Paramedic Paul Brazil. Paul was sworn in on Monday December 24th by Dennis Town Clerk Terri Bunce while Fire Chief Mark Dellner looks on. Paul comes to Dennis with an extensive background in firefighting and emergency medicine from years of working with Lower Cape Ambulance and the Brewster Fire Department. Paul is married and has one child with another on the way. He currently resides in the town of Brewster.

As Cape Wide News reported Friday, seven Dennis Firefighters graduated the state academy. The graduation from 10 weeks at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy came as a Christmas present for the members of the Dennis fire department. Firefighters left to right starting in the rear are Conor Robertson, Keith Savin, Nicholas Pedini, Mike Demoracski. Front row left to right, Robert Hooper, Anthony Muniz, and Matthew Conlon.
All of these members were part of a FEMA grant acquired back in January that allows departments to try and meet firefighter manning standards.
