BOURNE – From Mass Environmental Police: On Sunday, August 4, 2019, Massachusetts Environmental Police Officers conducted uniformed and plain-clothes patrols of the Cape Cod Canal area, targeting striped bass violations. Throughout the early morning and into Sunday night, Officers seized in excess of 50 striped bass, issued nearly $8,000 in citations, and made one arrest. All salvageable fish were donated to the Plymouth Area Coalition – For the Homeless.
