Today was the last day of work for Harwich Police Records Clerk Donna Tavano. Donna served the Town of Harwich for 20+ years. To call Donna a Records Clerk would not be telling the whole story.
Donna has had many roles at the HPD. Donna was a Police Dispatcher, Police Matron, Records Clerk, an active member of the Harwich Police Association, and last but certainly not least was her role as the Elder Affairs liaison. Donna has worked tirelessly in her efforts to support the elderly community in the Town of Harwich. Donna has not met a senior in need that she would not help.
Donna and her efforts through the years will be greatly missed. We at the HPD wish Donna well in her retirement. We are sure we will see you around town!
