BOURNE – Firefighters were called to a house fire in Bourne about 7:30 PM. The fire at 34 Buttermilk Way reportedly started in the basement. All of the occupants evacuated safely. One person was evaluated at the scene. Mutual aid was requested to the scene and to cover Bourne fire stations. Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
