HARWICH – At about 8 PM Saturday evening, Harwich Fire – Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire in a building to the rear of the Royal at Harwich Village assisted living complex on Bank Street. First arriving firefighters discovered a fire on the outside of an unoccupied building that was quickly knocked down. A wall was opened up to check for fire extension inside. No injuries were reported. Parallel Street in the area of the incident was closed for a short time by Harwich Police.
