Firefighters look on as smoke is ventilated after an electrical panel caught fire in Provincetown

pt072916lPROVINCETOWN – A fire in an electrical panel caused smoke to fill a home in Provincetown. Firefighters were called to 21 Kimberly Lane sometime before 6 a.m.

The homeowner used an extinguisher to slow the progress of the fire.

Fire crews were able to cut the power to the building and use a fan to clear the smoke.

The occupants evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
