YARMOUTH – A crash in the parking lot of the Yarmouth Crossing shopping plaza about 2:30 PM Thursday afternoon left one vehicle on its side and damage to a parked vehicle. Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free the driver of the overturned vehicle. The victim was reported conscious but was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation. The crash is under investigation by Yarmouth Police. Traffic was flowing by the scene on Route 28. The plaza houses the Registry of Motor Vehicles and several stores.
