Numerous poles and wires on Cranberry Highway (Route 28) in Wareham taken down by truck

WAREHAM – Wareham Fire reports that crews are on scene of numerous poles wires and house services down on Cranberry Hwy between Meadowlark Dr to Atlantic Boats including all neighborhoods in that area. Crews are checking all homes and businesses as well. Please avoid the scene and area, crews will be there for extended period of time.

According to reports, an apparent over height truck pulled down the wires some time after noon Saturday.
