Vehicle occupants flee scene after Dennis Port car vs pole

DENNIS PORT – Around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday a Honda Civic slammed into a utility pole and its support pole just north of the intersection of Depot Street and Center Street near 155 Depot Street.

The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash.

Depot Street will be closed in the area until Eversource can replace the damaged poles.

The Dennis Police Department is investigating.
