BOSTON – A Cape Air plane heading from Rockland, Maine to Boston had the top portion of its door open up on Wednesday when it was about 15 minutes out from Logan Airport.
Hyannis-based Cape Air spokeswoman Michelle Haynes said Flight 1558, with nine passengers and one pilot on board, was able to land without further incident and no injuries.
The cause of the top portion of the door opening was under investigation by Cape Air mechanics.
In addition to its Cape and Islands routes, Cape Air flies several regional routes around New England and the Northeast.
