FALMOUTH – Falmouth firefighters were called to a structure fire around 5:10 a.m. The fire broke out in a ranch-style home at 897 East Falmouth Highway (Route 28). Everyone made it out of the house safely but one person was treated for smoke inhalation. The fire appeared to be in the garage area. Crews were able to prevent significant damage to the living portion of the house. Route 28 was closed in the area due to hoses and equipment in the roadway with traffic being rerouted around the scene.
