ORLEANS – Firefighters from several towns were called to a house fire in Orleans sometime after 3:30 PM Thanksgiving afternoon. Heavy smoke was showing from 25 High Tide Lane when the first crews arrived. Two alarms were struck to bring manpower to the scene. The fire appeared to be in the attic of the structure. There were no immediate reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
