Updated: Fire rages through Yarmouth business

SOUTH YARMOUTH – Fire tore through a commercial building in South Yarmouth shortly after 3 a.m. The smoke from the fire at Moriarty Landscaping on Rough Riders Path off White’s Path was spotted by an Eastham ambulance on Route 6 returning from Cape Cod Hospital. The building was fully involved when firefighters arrived, and crews took a defensive stand, fighting the blaze from outside. Dennis Firefighters assisted at the scene. The State Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
