BOURNE – A collision between a car and an oil delivery tanker caused the tanker to roll on its side and start leaking diesel ffuel.The crash happened sometime after 10:30 AM Thursday in the area of 1248 Route 28A. Two people were evaluated for possible injuries. A tier 2 Hazmat response was requested to mitigate the leaking fuel. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Route 28A was closed in the area. Around 12:30 PM, it was reported all product had been offloaded onto another tanker. One lane may remain closed in the area while soil decontamination is underway.
