Blue shark rescued off Provincetown beach

PROVINCETOWN – Provincetown Police report that just before 1 p.m. Tuesday a Blue Shark was spotted in the shallows in the area just off of the Pearl Street town landing.

Dr. Charles “Stormy” Mayo and his team members from the Center of Coastal Studies were able to secure a tow rope around its tail and guide back out to deeper water.
