HYANNIS – Barnstable Town Clerk Ann Quirk swore in six Special Officers to the Barnstable Police Department on Tuesday, January 2, 2019.
Officers Brian Murray, Sean Sweeney, Steve McGuire, Arthur Caiado and David Cameron were joined by Jack Corbett who is the newest Special Officer.
Corbett’s official retirement date is January 11, 2019.
He is retiring after over 47 years of service to the Town, starting with DPW in 1971, and finishing his career with nearly 34 years of service with the BPD.
These officers join Owen Needham, Kevin Scott, James Ellis, Nancy Blanchard, Craig Tamash, and Tom Leduc in Special Officer duties.
